Yair Alster, M.D.
Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Alster Joined ForSight Labs in 2008 as the Chief Technological Officer of ForSight VISION3. He most recently joined ForSight Labs as Chief Medical Officer.

In 2000, Dr. Alster co-founded Notal Vision Ltd., a medical device company from Israel which developed and commercialized office and home telemedicine based perimetry for early diagnosis of age-related macular degeneration. Dr. Alster served as the Chief Technological Officer at Notal Vision where he led the product development, clinical studies, regulatory affairs, patent portfolio and reimbursement efforts until he joined ForSight Labs in 2008. From 1994 to 2000, Dr. Alster worked as an ophthalmologist at the Tel-Aviv Medical Center (Israel). Dr. Alster is an inventor on 10 issued and pending patents in the fields of psychophysical visual field testing, refractive surgery and methods for drug delivery. He also published many peer reviewed papers in the field of ophthalmology. Dr. Alster received his medical degree from the Sourasky Medical School at the Tel-Aviv University in Israel.
